Stokesley Farmer's Beagles were founded in 1938. The hunt country consists
of a mixture of arable, grass and moorland. It extends from the River Tees
to the River Esk and includes the Tees valley, the Cleveland Hills, and
the northern part of the North York Moors to the coast.
The country is a mixture of the heather moors along the Esk
valley near the villages of Danby, Glaisdale, and Kildale; and traditional
farmland around the lowland villages of Maltby, Ingleby Greenhow, and Great
Broughton which are not far from the market town of Stokesley which is
about 5 miles south of Middlesbrough.
The hunting season runs from October to March with meets on Wednesday and
Saturday. Visitors are always most welcome
